A European journal to promote inspiring science teaching

Science on Stage
is a project that collects the best of teaching science. It offers to the European teachers the chance to share innovative teaching methods and materials.
The project is devoted to teachers. They received a call to submit a work that will be selected for Science on Stage
.
The proposals were selected by a National Committee, directed by Prof. Carla Romagnino. After a first selection, several projects were presented at a national event.
At the national event, the National Committee selected the projects to be presented at the International Event, where many Eurpoean delegates show their most innovative educational projects.

Science on Stage
extends Phisics on Stage
to all scientific topics.
Science on Stage
has completed its second edition. The Italian national event of Science on Stage 2
was at the National Laboratories of Gran Sasso - Assergi (Italy, near L'Aquila), from 2007 October 5th to 2007 October 6th. The international event was at Grenoble (France), from 2007 April 2nd to 2007 April 6th.
The first edition of Science on Stage
was at the National Laboratories of Gran Sasso from 2005 April 14th to 2005 April 15th, while the International event was at CERN of Genevra (Switzerland) from 2005 November 21 th to 2005 November 25th.
During the international event of the first edition, the Italian delegates decided to cooperates in order to publish their works, mainly by means hypertexts stored in CD-Roms or accessible via the Internet.
This page is a portal linked to the description of the works presented during the national and the international event of Science on Stage 2
. Almost all the projects have an abstract and the email address of an author. Many projects have educational materials.
This collection should be useful for development of new educational activities, such as the Italian ISS Project.
This page is subjected to updates. We suggest to download the updates by the National website.
A more detailed description of the international project is available at the international website.
The members of the National Steering Committee are: Carla Romagnino (chair), Roberta Antolini, Leopoldo Benacchio, Brunella Danesi, Elisabetta Davoli, Antonio Gandolfi, Vittoria Massidda, Cristina Palici di Suni, Pasquale Tucci. Their affiliations are available on this page of the national website.
